The fiesta is no genius either, but the biker deserves whats coming to him.

Assuming the start of the video is the beginning of this mess, I'd say both parties are being asses.
First the Focus cuts into the biker's lane without signalling or looking and continues to do so, but then the biker decides to not let this moment of stupidity go and follow the Focus, even trying to open the door of the car which for the life of me I can't understand why he would imagine he's entitled to do. F's all around.

He should rethink when breaking car mirrors then. Why did he followed the car, he wanted to beat him up

Yes, thats why i say the focus isnt a genius. But i think it was an accident he wasnt checking his mirrors to change lanes. But as you say the biker should have dropped it, and continue his life.

Exactly. Also I've got no freaking clue what happened at the end. I can't imagine the focus backing up like that was intentional (and if it was FUUUUUUUCK going to that country and driving around). Focus should have checked mirrors and biker should have dropped it.

Why couldn't this guy just let it go? He wasn't hurt (other than butt hurt) and he could have just continued on his merry way. But no, because he Hulked out over something relatively minor that didn't even slow him down that much, I (we) get grouped into a stereotype of douchy mcdouchingtons that pull this crap on bikes.

They're both clearly assholes, but for some reason bikers keep forgetting that they are a lot smaller than a car.
Bring a dick is one thing, but is that a reason to try to pull someone out of their car to fight?

You're right. No it is not. Especially when the person is driving a vehicle which weighs roughly six to ten times more than yours. This is why when people in cars do this to me, I sigh, mutter "really?" to myself, and slow down and let them go wherever they please. It's not worth it.

So the guy in the car gets the go ahead to kill him by running him over? Sure he could have retaliated, but not like that.

As far as I can see, apart from accidentally getting in the way of the lunatic biker speeding suicidally through traffic - no blame attaches to the car driver there because the biker did something really, really dumb to start with - the driver then did exactly the right thing and attempted to avoid an incident. Once the biker escalated, the car driver disabled his bike to prevent him following yet again - had already tried running away - and then got the hell out.

I'd assumed the reversing into the bike was entirely intentional. It was exactly the right thing to do, under the circumstances. Neatly prevented the psycho biker following anymore, and only caused property damage, no violence involved.

Nah - because now it's battery and destruction of property plus he f'ed up his car. Best thing the driver could have done is called the cops or pulled over in a public place and kept the doors locked.

Being the bigger man pays off in the long run … you know when you have a bike that isn't run over by somebody.

It'd be considered appropriately-restrained self defence in England, and we've got some pretty wishy-washy self-defence laws. I can't imagine there's anywhere else in the world that is less lenient when it comes to defending yourself, so it's going to be self-defence anywhere else as well.
The car driver undoubtedly had a reasonable fear for his physical safety, and all he did in response was property damage.
"Best thing the driver could have done is called the cops or pulled over in a public place and kept the doors locked."
No. When in a situation like that you want to stay in public, but you do not sit still as a target while some lunatic smashes in the window and drags you from the car. It's standard training for protection officers and so-on: the maximum danger is when you're stationary.

the car brakes when the motherfucker falls down so he didnt run over him, also im pretty sure he wanted to break his bike not run him over, and picture you getting assaulted by some bikers, in the moment of heat, id do the same maybe.

Carry a automatic center punch, one tap on the glass and it's shattered. You're on your way and the person in the car is trying to figure out what happened. I don't condone violence but when an asshole nearly takes you out and doesn't care at all, they should be given a reminder. I've nearly been taken out a few times and if the person trys to apologize it's and admits their error it makes things better for everyone.

Just feel like it's a little over the top, even if it's self defense or something you can still get a manslaughter or homicide charge or whatever they call it if you kill him which easily could have happened if he hadn't looked up.

His goal seemed to be disable the bike so the biker couldn't continue his following and attacking. The biker was very aggressive trying to open the door and striking the car. He obviously was looking for a physical altercation. He definitely had the upper hand in a fight since he had a helmet and motorcycle leathers with armor.
